Piano Trio

Percussion and keyboard instruments are foundational to music in animated films. The Queen’s Cartoonists’s rhythm section will demonstrate how these instruments function, both on their own, and how they work together to create musical dialogue common in films. Students are encouraged to participate, sitting at the piano and adding percussion to the mix. The musicians will accompany cartoons as well, combining music with video.
