Brass and Woodwinds

Orchestral instruments feature heavily in classic animated films, and in this program, the brass and woodwind musicians in The Queen’s Cartoonists demonstrate the fundamentals of these instruments to students. Not only are the timbres and techniques of the instruments explored, but the musicians play along with animated cartoons, showcasing how the instruments can be used to create exciting textures that support onscreen action and drama.
